One house back from the cliffs at Dover Heights, House Blumenthal has oblique ocean views to the North and South from its triangular site. The design cranks the house form to align itself to these views. Designed to house a large family, multiple living spaces are created, addressing outdoor spaces with different characters. The environmental conditions on the cliff edge are harsh. Materials selection is robust and expressive of the corrosive conditions.
